MCT Oil, short for medium-chain triglycerides, is highly sought after by a variety of industries and applications from end-users to nutritional and supplement innovators, personal-care and cosmetic formulators, to private-label and contract manufacturers. MCT Oil 60/40 is a highly stable, liquid at room temperature, colorless and virtually odorless material containing high levels of Caprylic (C8) and Capric (C10) fatty acids.

Medium-chain fatty acids are most commonly extracted from palm kernel oil or coconut oil. This particular item code C1000 is palm-derived MCT oil whereas our Fractionated Coconut oil, item code C1005 or the organic option under item code C1006, are medium-chain triglycerides extracted from coconut oil. The origin of the medium-chain triglycerides should have no bearing on the functionality of the material.
